Stephanie concentrates her practice on labor and employment matters, representing clients in all aspects of labor and employment law. Prior to joining Marcus & Shapira in 2010, Stephanie gained valuable experience clerking for the Honorable Max Baer, Justice of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Stephanie began her practice in 2005, representing management clients in the Pittsburgh office of a national labor and employment law firm.
Stephanie graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2005 and the University of Michigan in 2001 (B.A. Economics, with distinction). At the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, she was Managing Editor of The Journal of Law and Commerce, a Teaching Assistant for the law school's legal writing program, and Research Assistant to Distinguished University Professor of Law Richard Delgado. She is the co-author of written materials for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's Employment Law Institute West 2006 seminar, entitled The Year in Review: What's Been Happening in Labor and Employment Law in the Third Circuit 2005-2006.
Stephanie is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
